Wet and windy, but Rickets Fly

The gloomy and damp conditions made it tricky for both teams.
Captain Charlie Won the toss and chose to field first. The conditions and evening start left the match to be limited to 16 overs.
Noah, Riley, Findley and Edward all took a wicket, but the stand-out bowling performance was from Archie who took 4 wickets each one clean bowled. Everyone else was economical and we did our best to field the ball considering the slippy conditions.

Our batters faced a variety of bowling, some excellent and some from younger opposition players, the scorecard doesn't tell the whole story.
BUT everyone took their chances and ran well.
Edward, Rory, Archie, Riley, Toby, Ben and Noah all reached the boundary to score 4, with Noah freeing his arms off the penultimate ball to score a six.
Joseph made some great hits to be denied by good fielding, Fin and Charlie ran well but hardly had a legal ball to have a swing at.
